Report Direct ADSL incidents

If a Direct ADSL customer causes abuse incidents you can contact the Abuse Desk by E-mail only at abuse@direct-adsl.nl. It is possible that you don't receive a personal answer. All abuse reports will be examined carefully. Make sure your abuse report is well documented.

We are only able to resolve the incidents originating from our own network. You can send us a report if the IP address involved starts with:
  • 81.207.xxx.xxx
  • 84.81.xxx.xxx

You can check to which network an IP address belongs using the following sites:
  • Cyberabuse:
  • Ripe.net:
  • Apnic:
  • Arin:
http://www.fr1.cyberabuse.org/whois/?page=whois_server
http://www.ripe.net/perl/whois
http://www.apnic.net/search/index.html
http://www.arin.net/whois/index.html

In order to deal with the abuse report as quickly and efficiently as possible the Abise Desk asks you urgently to:
  • Report the incident in one E-mail
  • Report one incident per E-mail
  • Only include lines from logfiles regarding the reported IP address. Don't include complete logfiles
  • Don't include attachments; the abuse desk does not accept E-mail with attachments
  • Don't include traceroutes, whois lookups, or ping results, these don't give additional information.
